Mia is a gorgeous and sweet yellow lab mix. When Mia was rescued, she weighed a good 10-15 lbs less than she does now. She has put on a healthy amount of weight in her foster home and is so pretty now! Mia is a friendly, warm, easy-going dog! She is  completely house-trained (she’s never had an accident in her foster home!) and crate-trained. Mia’s foster mom reports:

She is a great dog! Seriously. She is affectionate, but not overly needy. She is adjustable when it comes to activity – she isn’t hyper, can chill, but enjoys being active when her foster mom is active. She enjoys a chewy, but does not chew on personal items. She sleeps throughout the night in the living room and is a doll.

Mia would be a great match for someone who may not have a ton of experience training dogs, but who would like to spend time teaching commands and tricks – Mia loves to engage her human. Mia is a good watchdog without barking needlessly.

Daisy is a 5 year-old border collie mix. She is a laid-back dog who is housetrained and leash-trained. Her foster mom has never had to crate Daisy and finds that Daisy behaves perfectly in the house. Daisy loves to ride in the car and at night she sleeps beside, on, or under her human’s bed.

Daisy is great with her foster mom’s 5 year-old grandchild. She is a very happy go-lucky dog who loves everyone. Daisy is quiet in the house, happy to just lie on a dog bed, but is ready to go outside when you are. She doesn’t bark a lot and doesn’t chew things. If Daisy goes to a farm, she does not chase horses but loves to chase squirrels.

Daisy will make a great lifetime companion for a family or senior. Her foster mom says Daisy is “pretty darn perfect!”

Candy is housebroken and crate-trained and knows how to use the doggie door in her foster home. She is living her life to the fullest and would love a forever home with people who share her zest for adventure and are ready for snuggles at the end of the day. Candy has earned two nicknames: “Land Shark” for when she is rascally and “Candy Gram” for when she is sweet and cuddly.

Candy likes all treats and also likes to chew ropes and socks. She is lively, cuddly, affectionate, and shameless – she will roll over for a belly rub at the drop of a hat!

Furbee is 8 months old and weighs 17 lbs. He is housetrained and is working on his leash training. He likes to ride in the car and is fond of rawhide treats. He is lively, affectionate, and likes to be held on your lap. Furbee gets along well with other dogs and makes friends quickly.
